Joanne Hong is a custom womenswear and childrenswear designer known for her love of lace and feminine designs. Born and raised in Stillwater, OK, she graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Fashion Design & Production. She took the leap and moved to NYC in 2010, gaining experience interning and working for DKNY, Marchesa, Tahari, and MDL. It was her time at Marchesa that truly inspired her path. She fell in love with the luxurious fabrics, intricate handwork, and the world of eveningwear and bridal.
Through the years, Joanne has worked with countless clients around the country creating custom dresses for all types of special occasions including weddings, baby’s baptism, and galas. Her collections and designs have been featured during Oklahoma Fashion Week, Fashion for a Passion (a charity fashion show in Dallas, TX), and have been published in Salyse and Shuba Magazine.
Joanne currently resides in the DC area and continues to work with her studio based in NYC.
